Standard Female NPT Transition Fitting | IPS | SDR 7 | 355 PSI
Integrity Fusion’s Standard Female NPT Transition Fitting is engineered for high-pressure, high-performance HDPE-to-steel connections. Designed for IPS SDR 7 pipe and rated for 355 PSI MAOP at 73.4°F, this fitting delivers strength, reliability, and corrosion resistance in demanding environments.
Crafted from ASTM A53/API-5 carbon steel or 304/316 stainless steel and epoxy-coated to meet AWWA C116-01 and C213-01 standards, the fitting incorporates a robust, internally machined and beveled groove. This groove forms a strong mechanical joint, maintaining full HDPE ID coverage for piggable sealing and total corrosion protection.
Compatible with PE3408 / PE4710 / PE100 resins, it meets or exceeds ASTM D2513 Category 3 joint requirements (non-gas applications), and is certified under ASTM D3261, D1598, D1599, ANSI/AWWA C901/C906, NSF/ANSI/CAN-61, and NSF/ANSI-372.

- Installation Note:
Always apply pipe joint sealant or Teflon tape. Hand tighten, then finish tightening with two strap wrenches—never use pipe wrenches to avoid damaging the transition collar. Pressure test before backfilling, and compact soil carefully around the fitting.
