Designed for demanding pipeline applications, the Male NPT Transition Fitting from Integrity Fusion Products provides a durable and secure connection between steel and HDPE piping systems. Built to handle a maximum allowable operating pressure (MAOP) of 335 PSI @ 73.4°F, this heavy-duty fitting is precision-machined to ensure reliable, leak-free performance and long-term durability.

Constructed from internally and externally epoxy-coated ASTM A106/A53 Schedule 40 carbon steel, this fitting features an internally beveled groove design that ensures full HDPE coverage within the transition collar, offering total corrosion protection and a piggable seal. The design also provides a restraint rating equivalent to expected thermal stresses, delivering stability in a variety of tough environments.

Each fitting is manufactured to ANSI/ASME B1.20.1 standards and meets or exceeds ASTM D2513 Category 3 mechanical joint requirements (excluding natural gas use). Compatible with PE3408 / PE4710 / PE100 resins and suitable for heat fusion with OD-controlled pipe and fittings conforming to ASTM D2513, D3035, and F714.

Installation Note: Use strap wrenches only—never use pipe wrenches. Apply Teflon tape or joint sealant to threads, tighten by hand, and finish tightening with strap wrenches. Over-tightening or misuse may damage the fitting. Always pressure test before backfilling and compact soil with care to prevent stress on the joint.
