The IntegriFuse Heavy-Duty Weld-End Transition Fitting is a premium solution for joining HDPE piping systems to steel pipelines in demanding industrial and municipal applications. Constructed with ASTM A106/A53 Schedule 40 carbon steel and high-performance HDPE, this transition fitting features a fully epoxy-coated interior and exterior for superior corrosion protection and durability.
Designed for high-pressure systems, the SDR 9 configuration is rated for 255 PSI (MAOP @ 73.4°F), delivering a rugged and leak-resistant connection. The internally machined and beveled groove ensures full pressure performance, while maintaining unobstructed HDPE coverage throughout the transition collar—creating a piggable seal and pipe restraint rating suitable for thermal stress conditions in active pipelines.
This fitting meets or exceeds ASTM D2513 Category 3 mechanical joint requirements (not for use in natural gas distribution) and is manufactured to comply with ASTM D3261, ASTM F1598, ASTM F1599, ANSI/AWWA C901 & C906, NSF/ANSI 61, and NSF/ANSI 372. It is fusion-compatible with PE3408, PE4710, and PE100 resins and can be used with pipes and fittings manufactured to ASTM D2513, D3035, and F-714 specifications.
