Featuring an internally and externally epoxy-coated ASTM A106/A53 Schedule 40 carbon steel weld-end and a molded HDPE fusion end, this transition fitting offers a permanent mechanical joint with unmatched corrosion resistance and strength.

Designed around a precision-machined internal groove, the fitting ensures unobstructed HDPE coverage throughout the collar’s interior diameter, creating a piggable seal and pipe restraint that can withstand thermal stress while maintaining the MAOP of the connected SDR 7 HDPE pipe—rated up to 335 PSI at 73.4°F. It is ideal for oilfield, industrial, water, mining, and landfill applications requiring high reliability and protection from corrosion and mechanical failure.

This transition fitting meets or exceeds ASTM D3261, ASTM F1598/F1599, ANSI/AWWA C901/C906, NSF/ANSI 61, and NSF/ANSI-372 requirements and is compatible with HDPE materials manufactured from PE3408/PE4710/PE100 resins compliant with ASTM D3350. While commonly used in oilfield and gas gathering systems, it is not certified for natural gas distribution.
