Series 712 Transition Fitting from Poly-Cam offers a durable and secure connection from Female NPT Thread to IPS HDPE pipe. Designed for demanding utility and industrial environments, this multi-level mechanical transition fitting ensures a high-strength, leak-resistant seal that performs reliably under pressure and through thermal expansion and contraction.
Each fitting is hydraulically compressed onto high-quality polyethylene or copolymer material, cold-pressed into the coupling's tapered entrance. The multi-barb insert system increases sealing force under pressure and holds under tension even at zero internal pressure. The result is a permanent bond with a minimum 50-year design life at 73.4°F (23°C) and a 2:1 safety factor. This DR 7-rated fitting is ideal for high-pressure HDPE installations where strength and longevity matter.
