The Series 712 Transition Fitting from Poly-Cam delivers a rugged and secure mechanical connection from Female NPT Thread to IPS HDPE pipe. Engineered for high-performance in industrial and utility-grade systems, this transition fitting features a multi-level barb system that ensures a leak-resistant seal—even under pressure fluctuations and thermal movement.
Each fitting is hydraulically compressed onto high-quality polyethylene or copolymer material and cold-pressed into the coupling's tapered steel entrance. This creates a high-tensile grip that resists pull-out and maintains seal integrity even at zero internal pressure. Rated DR 11, this fitting is a reliable solution for medium- to high-pressure HDPE installations with a 50-year design life and 2:1 safety factor at 73.4°F (23°C).
