The Series 712 Transition Fitting from Poly-Cam provides a robust and secure connection from Female NPT Thread to DIPS HDPE pipe. Engineered for performance in demanding municipal and industrial environments, this mechanical transition fitting delivers a long-lasting, leak-resistant seal that holds strong under pressure and resists thermal expansion and contraction.
Each fitting features a hydraulically compressed, high-quality polyethylene or copolymer material that is cold-pressed into a tapered steel or alloy coupling. The internal multi-barb insert design increases sealing force under pressure and remains securely engaged even at zero internal pressure. This DR 9-rated transition is ideal for a wide range of HDPE applications requiring strength, reliability, and longevity—with a 50-year design life at 73.4°F (23°C) and a 2:1 safety factor.
