Polywater UPR Wood Pole Repair | PR & No-Flow Kits | 250–600 ml
Polywater UPR Wood Pole Repair — Product Overview
Polywater UPR Wood Pole Repair is a high-performance expanding resin system engineered to repair, reinforce, and restore the structural integrity of damaged wood utility poles and crossarms. It permanently fills woodpecker holes, cracks, voids, and hardware holes while bonding directly to wood fibers for long-lasting strength. UPR is available in two formulas — UPR-PR (Liquid Polymer Resin) and UPR-NF (No-Flow) — to match different repair conditions.
The two-part resin mixes automatically through the static nozzle and applies using a standard high-ratio caulking gun. Once cured, UPR foam becomes gaffable, moisture-resistant, and strong enough to match the compressive strength of Southern Yellow Pine and Douglas Fir. UPR is OSHA-compliant for climbing after repair and suitable for extreme hot and cold climates.
PR vs. NF Formulas
- UPR-PR (Liquid Formula): Lower-viscosity resin that flows easily into large voids and around fillers. Ideal for deep woodpecker holes, wider cavities, and maximizing material coverage.
- UPR-NF (No-Flow Formula): Thicker, non-sag resin that stays exactly where placed during expansion. Best for vertical cracks, moisture-exposed poles, and any repair needing controlled placement with minimal drip or leak risk.
Key Features
- Expands & Fills: Two-part resin expands to fill irregular cavities without pilot holes.
- Strong Adhesion: Bonds directly to wood fibers for long-term structural repair.
- Gaffable Once Cured: Safe for climbing — validated with Buckingham gaffs.
- Fast, Easy Application: Mixes in the nozzle using a high-ratio caulking gun; no specialty tools required.
- Moisture & Weather Resistant: Absorbs less than 1% water and performs in harsh climates.
- OSHA Compliant: Meets climbing-safety requirements after curing.
Tested Performance
- Compressive strength comparable to Southern Yellow Pine and Douglas Fir (ASTM D1691).
- Temperature range: −40°F to 150°F (−40°C to 66°C).
- Validated for climbing with industry-standard gaffs.
