• Airtight and Strong: These couplings are designed to be airtight up to 180 psi, providing a reliable seal that maintains system integrity under pressure. They also offer high pullout strength, making them ideal for handling the leverage stresses associated with connecting large radius sweeps and full-length pipe sections.
• Versatile Design: The coupling features regular right-hand threads on the polyethylene end, while the other end is machined with regular IPS female pipe threads. This design allows for easy connection to a male-to-female PVC pipe adaptor. The male end of the adaptor is screwed into the coupling, and the PVC pipe or sweep is glued into the female end of the adaptor, creating a seamless transition between materials.

Important Usage Information:

These Aluminum PE to PVC Threaded Couplers should NOT be installed in the following conditions:

• Wet environments or where the coupling may be submerged in water.
• Environments with strong acidic or alkaline conditions outside the pH range of 4 to 8.
• Near saltwater or where there is direct exposure to road salt runoff.
• Embedded in concrete or cement-stabilized sand.
