The Poly-Cam Series 415 Side Fusion Tapping Saddle provides a heavy-duty, low-profile solution for connecting to HDPE mains. Its barbed mechanical design is hydraulically compressed into polyethylene or pipe-grade copolymer, ensuring a high-strength, leak-resistant bond. A stainless steel compression ring adds exceptional pullout resistance, while the female-threaded outlet allows secure connection of valves or corporation stops.
Designed for sidewall fusion with standard fusion equipment, the 3" base is field-machinable to match DIPS mains ranging from 2" to 63" in diameter. This ensures a custom fit and dependable performance at the jobsite, even under fluctuating pressures and temperatures.
With a 335 PSI pressure rating and a minimum 50-year design life at 73.4Ā°F (23Ā°C) with a 2:1 safety factor, this tapping saddle is built for reliability in both utility and industrial HDPE systems.
