EB-35 PVC Conduit | Heavy Wall | Concrete Encasement | 20' Bell End
EB-35 PVC Conduit | Heavy Wall | Concrete Encasement | 20' Bell End — Product Overview
Prime Conduit EB-35 Heavy Wall P&C Duct is a nonmetallic conduit made from a high-modulus PVC compound for power and communications work. Prime designs Type EB specifically for concrete-encased installations, and it is rated for use with 90°C cable.
Every 20-foot stick carries one factory-formed bell end for a fast, secure solvent-weld joint. EB-35 meets ASTM F-512 and NEMA TC-6 & TC-8, with a minimum pipe stiffness of 35 lb/in/in — the heavier of the two EB walls. Sizes run 2" through 6".
Priced by the foot and sold in whole bundles. Each size ships in the bundle footage shown in the table below, and orders are placed in multiples of it — one bundle, two bundles, and so on. Partial bundles are not available.
Which Duct Series Do I Need?
| Series | Min. Pipe Stiffness (lb/in/in) | Prime's Stated Use | Listing |
|---|---|---|---|
| EB-20 | 20 | Concrete encased | LINK |
| EB-35 — this listing | 35 | Concrete encased | — |
| DB-60 | 60 | Direct burial or encased | LINK |
| DB-100 | 100 | Direct burial or encased | LINK |
| DB-120 | 120 | Direct burial or encased | LINK |
Pipe stiffness is the NEMA TC-6 & 8 / ASTM F-512 minimum for the series — a higher number means a heavier wall and more crush resistance. Important: Prime rates Type EB for concrete-encased installations; Type DB is the series rated for direct burial. Burial depth, cover and duct-bank requirements are set by your local authority having jurisdiction — confirm the series with your inspector or our sales team before ordering.

Weights, outside diameters, minimum wall thicknesses and bundle quantities are Prime Conduit published values from the P&C Duct catalog. Impact resistance is the NEMA TC-6 & 8 minimum at 0°C (32°F). Bundle quantity is the order increment for that size — for example the 6" is ordered as 520 ft, 1,040 ft, 1,560 ft and so on.
6" EB-35 is a special-order size. Prime flags 68717-020 as special order in its catalog, so lead time is longer than the stocked sizes — contact us before scheduling around it.
Need 5" in 10-foot sticks? Prime also lists a 10' version of the 5" (part 68716-010, 380 ft bundle). It is not on the current price schedule, so ask our sales team for a quote.
Sweeps for EB Duct
Prime's catalog states plainly: use DB sweeps with EB duct. There is no separate EB sweep line — the DB-60 sweeps below are the correct fittings for EB-20 and EB-35 runs.
