Yellow HDPE Gas Pipe (PE 2406/2708) is specifically designed for underground distribution of natural gas and LPG. Produced from DOW Chemical DGDA 2420 Bi-Modal MDPE resin, it offers exceptional stress crack resistance, long-term hydrostatic strength, and outstanding RCP performance compared to standard mono-modal materials.
This pipe is UV stabilized for outdoor storage for up to 3 years prior to installation. It is NSF certified to meet the Uniform Plumbing Code and manufactured to exceed ASTM and Federal pipeline standards. Maximum operating pressure is 100 psig for natural gas distribution systems per DOT CFR Part 192.
