4.5 Ton Manual Mechanical "Pop" Crimping Tools | MCP Series — Product Overview
Built for utility linework and overhead distribution applications, the Huskie Tools® MCP Series Manual "Pop" Crimping Tools deliver reliable 4.5-ton crimping performance without the need for hydraulic power. Designed for installing a wide variety of utility distribution connectors, these mechanical crimpers are ideal for service entrance connections, streetlight installations, overhead splices, taps, terminals, stacking lugs, stirrups, repair sleeves, and full-tension dead-end connectors.
The MCP Series combines forged steel butting jaws, high-strength aluminium alloy castings, and one-piece composite handles to provide exceptional durability, maximum leverage, and long service life. An over-centre cam mechanism ensures the tool reaches full crimping force on every cycle while allowing field adjustment for consistent performance. Positive-lock, spring-loaded die retainers make die changes quick and secure, while the combination of fixed and insertable die grooves provides outstanding application versatility.
