SP-105YC | 9-Ton Remote Hydraulic Scissor Cable Cutter Head | 4.125" Jaw
Remote Hydraulic Cutting Head for Soft Metals | SP-105YC — Product Overview
The SP-105YC is a 9-ton scissor-type remote hydraulic cutting head built for utility, electrical, and telecommunications crews cutting large underground copper and aluminum cable in tight workspaces. Its extra-wide 4.125" jaw opening and open-jaw scissor design let operators scoop cable directly from the ground or against a wall without repositioning — ideal for vaults, trenches, and other hard-to-reach spots.
Powered by any standard 10,000 psi hydraulic source, the SP-105YC delivers consistent, high-capacity cutting without the downtime of battery tools. An integrated sidebar handle adds stability and control on larger cuts. It is designed for copper, aluminum, and lead-sheathed telecommunications cable and produces clean, controlled cuts in underground utility work. It is not intended for cutting steel or ACSR conductors.
