PE & PVC Pulling Eyes — Product Overview
PE & PVC Pulling Eyes are designed for pulling polyethylene (PE) and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) conduit during installation. Available in short-sleeved and non-sleeved configurations, these pulling eyes use split gripping segments, gripping threads, and a steel expansion plug to engage the inside of the conduit.
Non-Sleeved Pulling Eyes: Feature a rigid center rod and a tapered steel lead cone. These models provide a gripping connection for conduit pulling applications without the watertight sealing feature of the sleeved models.
Short-Sleeved Pulling Eyes: Incorporate a multiple O-ring configuration and a protective sleeve around the leading conduit edge to form a watertight seal. These models are intended for applications requiring the additional sealing feature.
Both configurations feature attachment eyes at each end for connecting pulling rope or steel lines. Select the appropriate pulling eye by configuration, nominal conduit size, and the published conduit inside-diameter range.
