Series 415 Side Fusion Tapping Saddle | 4" Base | DIPS
The Poly-Cam Series 415 Side Fusion Tapping Saddle offers a rugged, low-profile solution for creating branch outlets in HDPE pipelines. Designed with a barbed mechanical system, the saddle is hydraulically compressed into polyethylene or pipe-grade copolymer material, ensuring a high-strength, leak-resistant seal. A stainless steel compression ring maximizes pullout resistance, while the female-threaded outlet provides secure connectivity for valves or corporation stops.
Built for standard side fusion equipment, the 4" base is field-machinable to precisely match a wide range of DIPS main pipe diameters. This ensures jobsite flexibility and a secure, pressure-rated fit.
Engineered to perform under pressure and temperature fluctuations, the tapping saddle supports a 335 PSI pressure rating and delivers a 50-year minimum design life at 73.4°F (23°C) with a 2:1 safety factor—making it ideal for demanding municipal and industrial applications.
