Series 415 Side Fusion Tapping Saddle | 2" Base | IPS
The Poly-Cam Series 415 Side Fusion Tapping Saddle delivers a robust and low-profile solution for tapping into HDPE pipelines. Engineered with a barbed mechanical design, this tapping saddle is hydraulically compressed into polyethylene or copolymer pipe, forming a durable, high-strength seal. A stainless steel compression ring enhances pullout resistance, while the female-threaded outlet ensures a secure connection for valves or corporation stops.
Designed for compatibility with standard side fusion equipment, the 2" base is field-machinable to match a wide range of main pipe diameters. This results in a custom fit at the jobsite, supporting long-term reliability under pressure and thermal expansion.
With a 335 PSI pressure rating and a 50-year minimum design life at 73.4Ā°F (23Ā°C) and a 2:1 safety factor, this tapping saddle is ideal for utility and industrial HDPE applications.
