Series 415 Side Fusion Tapping Saddle | 4" Base | IPS
The Poly-Cam Series 415 Side Fusion Tapping Saddle offers a heavy-duty, low-profile solution for securely tapping into HDPE pipelines. Built with a barbed mechanical design, the saddle is hydraulically compressed into polyethylene or pipe-grade copolymer material for a strong, leak-resistant seal. A stainless steel compression ring enhances pullout strength, while the female-threaded outlet ensures a secure fit for corporation stops and valves.
Designed to be installed using standard side fusion equipment, the 4" base is field-machinable to match a variety of HDPE main sizes, enabling precision sidewall fusion directly at the jobsite.
This saddle supports a full 335 PSI pressure rating with a 2:1 safety factor and offers a minimum 50-year design life at 73.4°F (23°C), making it a reliable solution for demanding utility and industrial environments.
