The Series 712 Transition Fitting from Poly-Cam delivers a durable, high-integrity mechanical connection from Female NPT Thread to IPS HDPE pipe. Engineered for long-term reliability in demanding utility and industrial environments, this multi-level transition fitting ensures a permanent, leak-resistant seal—enhancing system performance under pressure and through thermal cycles.
Each fitting uses high-quality polyethylene or copolymer material, hydraulically compressed and cold-pressed into a tapered steel coupling. The internal multi-barb insert system expands sealing surface area as internal pressure rises, while maintaining joint strength under zero pressure. With a minimum 50-year design life at 73.4°F (23°C) and a 2:1 safety factor, this DR 17 fitting is ideal for standard-pressure HDPE installations where consistency and longevity are critical.
