Schedule 40 PVC Utility 22.5° Sweep Elbows are manufactured to meet utility-grade specifications for power conduit systems. Designed for direct burial, encasement, or aboveground use, these rigid PVC elbows feature integral bell ends for secure solvent-weld assembly. The smooth 22.5° bend provides easier cable pulling and reliable long-term performance.
Utility elbows are built to NEMA TC-2 standards, rated for 90°C conductors, and proudly made in the USA. A Long Bell option is available in select sizes for added socket depth and joint security.

Utility vs. Standard Schedule 40
Utility Grade Schedule 40 and Standard Schedule 40 elbows share the same dimensions and use cases, but differ in certification:
- Standard Schedule 40 – ETL Listed to UL 651, NEC/NEMA compliant, used in most electrical and telecom projects
- Utility Schedule 40 – Meets NEMA TC-2 “utility grade” specifications, with slightly different minimum wall thickness, and is often required by electric utilities and in certain states such as California
This ensures contractors meet utility or jurisdictional requirements while maintaining dimensional interchangeability with standard Schedule 40 products.
