Cable Pulling Capstans — Product Overview
Cable Pulling Capstans are designed for compatible cable pulling equipment with a standard 2-7/16" diameter bayonet-style shaft. Available in six configurations with diameters ranging from 12" to 62", these capstans offer different flat widths, cable diameter capacities, and manufacturer-published load ratings.
Choose the capstan according to the required diameter, flat width, maximum cable outside diameter, and rated load. Two 30" configurations are available with different flat widths and load ratings.
Important Compatibility Warning: The 12" capstan (MPN 08675213) is NOT suitable for fiber optic cable pulling. Condux specifies this model for pulling innerduct, power, telephone, or coaxial cables. Review the manufacturer specifications for the appropriate capstan before ordering.

- 12" Capstan | MPN 08675213: 9" flat width and 2,000 lb load rating. Not for fiber optic cable pulling.
- 30" Capstan | MPN 08675230: 4" flat width, .75" maximum cable O.D., and 1,000 lb load rating.
- 30" Capstan | MPN 08675430: 8" flat width, .75" maximum cable O.D., and 600 lb load rating.
- 42" Capstan | MPN 08675436: 8" flat width, 1.05" maximum cable O.D., and 600 lb load rating.
- 50" Capstan | MPN 08675220: 8" flat width, 1.25" maximum cable O.D., and 600 lb load rating.
- 62" Capstan | MPN 08675275: 8" flat width, 1.55" maximum cable O.D., and 600 lb load rating.

These capstans are intended for a standard 2-7/16" diameter bayonet-style shaft. Confirm that your cable pulling equipment uses the correct shaft arrangement and that the selected capstan meets the cable and application requirements.
Fiber Optic Cable Restriction: Do not use MPN 08675213 for fiber optic cable pulling. Condux identifies that 12" configuration for pulling innerduct, power, telephone, or coaxial cables.
