The EP-510HK 12 Ton Remote Hydraulic “C” Crimping Head is engineered for heavy-duty utility and electrical applications. Built to accept both Kearney and industry-standard U-type dies, this versatile compression head is an ideal solution for mid-span sleeves, lugs, and splices up to 1033 MCM.
Fully compatible with PH-2, WH-2, and WH-3 Kearney-style dies, this tool is trusted by utility professionals for reliable performance in substation, overhead, and energized applications. With the optional UDK-1 adapter, it also accepts all standard “U” type dies.
This tool is powered by an external 10,000 psi hydraulic pump and includes a 3/8" male screw-type coupler (EP-510HK) or a snap coupler (EP-510HKSC). Its open “C” head design with a 1.5" jaw opening allows for easy connector placement and removal in tight or overhead spaces. A rubber boot adds safety and protection in the field.
