The YSP-30 Remote Hydraulic Cutting Head from Huskie Tools is a compact, field-ready solution designed to cut copper and aluminum cables quickly and efficiently. This lightweight scissor-style cutter connects to any 10,000 psi hydraulic system and is ideal for utility crews, telecom professionals, and field contractors.
Weighing just 6 lbs., the YSP-30 is highly maneuverable and easy to operate in tight or elevated spaces. The scissor-style blades deliver clean, fast cuts on copper cable up to 500 MCM and aluminum cable up to 1.18” O.D. The rugged construction features a black oxide finish for corrosion resistance and long-term durability on job sites.
Each cutter comes equipped with a 3/8” screw-type male hydraulic coupler for easy integration with hydraulic pumps. While designed for Cu and Al cables, this model is not intended for ACSR, 4/0 Penguin, or 3/0 Pigeon cable.
