• Double Protection Sealing: Each coupling features multiple barbed rings that function as separate full circumference seals. This design provides double protection against air leakage, ensuring a secure and airtight connection.
• High Sealing and Pullout Strength: The sharp, precision-cut barbs bite into the duct body, creating a connection with high internal and external sealing capabilities. The sealing and tensile efficiency of the couplings actually improve as internal air pressure increases during cable placement, making them highly reliable for demanding applications.
• Mechanically Assisted Installation: These couplings require a hydraulic coupling press, such as the DK200-HC, for installation. The compression load needed to push the coupling onto the conduit ensures the barbs bite securely into the duct, resulting in an exceptionally strong and reliable connection.

Important Usage Information:

These Aluminum Barbed Couplings should NOT be installed in the following conditions:

• Wet environments or where the coupling may be submerged in water.
• Environments with strong acidic or alkaline conditions outside the pH range of 4 to 8.
• Near saltwater or where there is direct exposure to road salt runoff.
• Embedded in concrete or cement-stabilized sand.
