BORE-GARD TRENCHLESS RACEWAY | SCHEDULE 40 PVC CONDUIT
Bore-Gard Trenchless Raceway is a durable Schedule 40 PVC conduit system designed for trenchless underground installations via horizontal directional drilling (HDD). Made in the USA and certified to UL651, NEMA TC-2, and CSA C22.2 No.211.2 standards, it provides dependable performance in electrical, telecom, and utility applications.
Key Features:
- Schedule 40 Heavy-Wall PVC: Provides strength, flexibility, and reliability for HDD applications. Tested to pull forces up to 18,500 lbf depending on size.
- Watertight, Tool-Free Assembly: Pre-installed locking strap and triple-lobed gasket create a fast, watertight seal—no fusion, glue, or tools required.
- Standard Fitting Compatibility: No special fittings needed—connects with standard off-the-shelf Schedule 40 PVC fittings for quick transitions.
- No Reels, Less Waste: Ships in 10' or 20' sticks, eliminating reel handling, uncoiling issues, and return freight costs.
- ETL & CSA Listed: Compliant with NEC Articles 300 and 352, approved for underground use with electrical conductors.
Installation Overview:
- Position conduit with print line facing up.
- Remove locking strap and end caps. On the first stick, trim the spigot end at the groove if needed.
- Insert and secure the pulling eye into the spigot end.
- Push the spigot into the belled end of the next stick until the insertion line disappears.
- Slide the locking strap into the side groove of the bell to secure the joint—no cement required.
Bore-Gard is designed for rapid trenchless installation. It reduces landscape disruption, improves labor efficiency, and delivers long-lasting performance across a range of soil and site conditions.
Common Applications:
- Underground electrical conduit
- Telecommunications duct banks
- Utility crossings under roads, railways, and runways
