Poly-Cam’s Series 415 Side Fusion Tapping Saddle provides a rugged, low-profile solution for creating secure branch outlets on HDPE mains. This mechanically barbed tapping saddle is hydraulically compressed into polyethylene or pipe-grade copolymer material, forming a durable connection that performs reliably in demanding utility environments.

A stainless steel compression ring enhances pullout strength, while the female-threaded outlet enables secure installation of corporation stops or valves. Designed for use with standard side fusion equipment, this fitting can be field-machined to match the main pipe’s radius, allowing for a precise fusion process at the jobsite.

The fitting delivers a permanent, pressure-rated solution with a minimum 50-year design life at 73.4°F (23°C) and a 2:1 safety factor. Ideal for both municipal and industrial applications, the 1.5" base supports IPS mains ranging from 2" to 63" in diameter.
