Heavy-Duty Expansion Anchors — Product Overview

Heavy-Duty Expansion Anchors are designed for fastening applications in concrete. Each anchor is installed in a pre-drilled hole, where the plug expands as the anchor is driven into it to create a solid hold in the concrete.

Choose from three UNC thread sizes: 3/4"-10 UNC, 5/8"-11 UNC, and 1/2"-13 UNC. Each size has manufacturer-published allowable working loads for tension and shear, as shown in the Ordering Information table below.

Important: Confirm the required thread size and allowable working load before ordering. Condux specifies the published load ratings for 4,000 psi concrete, with allowable shear loads based on SAE Grade 5 capscrews.

Load Rating Note: Allowable working loads are based on 4,000 psi concrete. Allowable shear loads are based on the use of SAE Grade 5 capscrews.
