The YSP-34 Remote Hydraulic Cutter Head from Huskie Tools is purpose-built for clean, powerful cutting of copper and aluminum cables in the field. This compact, scissor-style cutter connects to any 10,000 psi hydraulic system and is designed for line crews, utility contractors, and telecom professionals who need reliable performance in tight spaces or overhead applications.
With a cutting capacity of up to 800 MCM hard-drawn copper and 1.24" O.D. aluminum cable, the YSP-34 offers excellent reach in a lightweight 6 lb frame. The durable black oxide coating provides corrosion resistance, and the scissor-style cutting jaws deliver clean, jam-free cuts for improved productivity.
This model is equipped with a 3/8” screw-type male hydraulic coupler and is not intended for use on steel, ACSR, or lead-sheathed cables.
