Type C Telephone Duct Split Sleeve Couplings — PVC repair couplings split lengthwise, for joining and repairing 4" Type C telephone duct around installed cable.
Type C telephone duct has its own outside diameter (4.350" on the 4"), so Schedule 40 couplings do not fit it. These split sleeve couplings are made to the Type C dimension. The wall is split along its length so the coupling opens around an installed cable and closes over the joint, and the sleeve is open-ended so it slides to wherever the joint sits. Use them to join Type C split duct to existing duct, or to bridge a repair where a damaged section has been cut out.
Gray or White, One-Side or Two-Side
- Gray (CPSPLTTD): standard telephone duct gray.
- White (CPSPLTWTD): for white telephone duct systems, so the repair matches the run.
- One-side split: a single cut along the sleeve; springs open to pass over the cable and closes back to round.
- Two-side split: two halves, easier around a large or stiff cable bundle. The 18" two-side sleeve also bridges a longer gap.
